Blog- its been awhile

So it has been a while since i blogged on here. Most of that is because i have been busy working two part time jobs and starting a class back in school. but i also  re-built a website for my  @Eastvalleyinfo project. Which is a support site for local businesses and events. The new website is WWW.Eastvinfo.com . I hope everyone that follows me locally will check it out it is still growing. The events calendar is still not where i want it.

I post on that site also but have little following there yet. check it out if you have a chance.

Blog-Opps !! Has it been that long?

So i just noticed that i forgot to blog in months. that is not good but at least it has been long enough that i have a few things to say.

Me personally have being kept busy by working and social networking. i have been doing the 2nd Friday events in Mesa. My wife and daughter are going to California for my oldest step-daughter’s wedding. Bought my wife a small digital camera to play with while see is there. Because of work ,school and my paycheck. i’ll be staying home 😦

But i will be going back to school (a tech class) starting this Tuesday. Yes, i’m scared. lol

For my books: I’m still trying to write but  because of my schedule. it has slowed down, Alot.  At last estimate the draft will be done in about 300 days. that has alot of room to change so don’t worry that it won’t happen. this new series has a lot of room to grow. Massive room for new characters. the first book name is : Like Father, Like Son . i’m about 1/5 of the way done. but the cover is almost done and should be ready to show soon.

Do i think i’ll have it done by PHXCC14. No. but that is not a solid no . you never no i might have a good weekend and write 5 to 10k. If my job changes and my nights are freed up i might be able to push this time line faster.

also on book projects. I’m making some changes the Native Protectors series will slow down alot.  i’m going to be redoing the Spirit Lance book and merging it with the short story ROTH (Rise Of The Harkon) this new book will be edited and re-covered as Spirit Lance Fusion.

@EastValleyinfo My social Networking project is moving slowly i gain a few new followers after every event i do. for the people that don’t know . I started this project a little while back to support friends and groups in the east Valley (Mesa.Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, AJ) i go to events take pictures and post them to help bring attention to the people and event. and i really enjoy doing it but it is a slow process for me.  i started just pushing KNTR, WesternX. But now it has grown to supporting the 2nd Friday event in Mesa. and the Doublewide Network (owned by Dave Pratt).

I also support a friend that i had been following for a little while named Ed Vanderlee (Owner of the Arizona Roughriders ) which work at Rawhide, when he started two internet radio projects. Rawhide Radio which Airs every Sunday at noon on the Doublewide Network. and LowRent Radio with his co-host Craig Hiess. also in the studio with him is Josh Pillsbury and Jared Bernal with BluRay Rewind. And social girl Amanda Sauceda. which is sponsored by Beyond Technology Solutions.

Blog- My new Book Series.

So i had told many of you that i’m starting on a new series. this series will be very long and should have much room to grow. I’m still working on a title to this series. but the first book is named Like Father, Like Son.

There will be three books in the first part of this series. then i’ll split of my main characters in to their own series and bring them back again down the road. I hope to have three books in each split off series.

I’m already working on characters and plots for those series also. i hope to start releasing short descriptions of my main characters and maybe even a few drawings that i will be having someone draw.

Sorry this is so short but very busy today. i hope to have more info in the near future.

So in the near future i have a few plans. i hope to go take pictures at my friends internet radio show Low Rent Radio. First day off monday- friday. lol i hope. Next Month i will enjoying myself at the Kids Need To Read  Kids Need to Read Cajun Crawfish Boil Charité, with Chef Sauce Boss (Who Dat!?) on April 6th in Mesa.

Then on the April 20th. i’ll be with the Arizona Browncoats up on the Dolly steamboat tour. 

Then is May will be my Mini vacation. PHXCC13

Blog- SOOOOOO the season is All Most over.

The restaurant i work for is almost over. this means a few things for me.

1. Money is going to start getting tighter.

2. Days off will happen

3. Book writing will start again. thats a big YAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY for this one.

outside of working i have started to build bios for my characters for my books. this consists of pictures that i can find of the people that inspired the characters. some were easy to come by some were harder. but the work on the bios has started.

i have a sci-fi series that i shelved a little while ago that i’m building now for a slow start. No Dates or real info on this series but i choose 2 very cute actresses as inspiration.

The steampunk mash-up. which is my main focus for right now. is what i’m building now. the inspiration for the main characters are set. Captain Smashtower, Andrew Savage, Maggie, Kennith , Danny Two- Pints, Raven and Anna. i’m still working on the Evil King and the higher officers of the Crimson Guard.

Andrew is a young adventurist. Who takes after his father. Running to the aid of people who need it. and this time it might be the entire planet that needs saving, from the Crimson Guard. With his Uncle and his two cousins Fleeing their home. Running from a Crazed King and his Army of Red-The Crimson Guard.

Along the way they meet new friends. Who will help them survive the trials before them. Will Andrew live long enough to be the man his father thought he could be?

Blog- Plans

so the Native Protector series is not doing as well as i would like. So i will be making some changes. i’m going to to cut back to only producing only one story for Native Protector series per year and i’m going to focus on my new series. So i will push back  Goliath the second book in the Native Protectors series to next year. i might complete a second short story in the series but i think that will be all for the series this year.

i need to focus on the new series. the new series is a mash-up i think is the right phrase. it is a little Fantasy, Sci-Fi, SteamPunk-ish. the first book in this series is Like Father, Like Son.

this story is about Andrew Savage the young adventurous young man. His father Jack Savage was a LT. on a Old Republic combat airship. 15 years ago his father disappeared trying to launch a last attempt to push the Crimson Guard out of their territory. Along the way he will meet some new friends . Find things out about his father, and gain a lot on enemies. But also gain a lot of new friends.

My head is going to explode!!!

So the last week was a good week. on Sunday i launched my revamped website Smashtowerbooks.com . i added a few features . the twitter feed a button to my blog. buttons to my other networks. info on my projects. and since my new DSLR is in the mail. i’ll be posting alot more pics. and since the website is easy to work on i’ll be making changes all the time. Woot!!!!

Rise OF The Harkon is now released. and on Amazon and @eprintedbooks.com . I’m not sure if i wish to pup it on Smashwords or not since Spirit Lance was so hard to add to their site and low sales. But i will most likely add it to Kobo.

Now my plan is to work on Spirit Lance Fusion. Which will be the combination of both stories. and maybe a little new content. i’ll also be working on Like Father, Like Son which i hope to be a big hit. Like Father ,Like Son i hope to be at least 18 books long not including short stories.

and also PHXCC13 is coming and i hope to get lots of pics with my new camera. Sweet!!!!

that is my little news update.

This last week.

Ok this last week was kind of a good week. i had a day off work that was great. that was a PRO. CON I spent money. But it was worth it. I attended a YA writers workshop downtown at Dobson High School. put on by Changing Hands Bookstore.

I got the chance to listen to the advice of veteran authors tell about their tales and information on how to be a successful author.  now remember i’m not a big reader myself. but a few of these authors i have great respect for as authors,people in the community , and for the skill at what they do.

This event was very good for me and i really should take more as they pop-up. i got the chance to say Hi to James Owens again which is always good. and had a chance to chat to Tom Leveen and he was quite informative. and always a joy to talk too. i met other talented authors. and added them to my facebook to keep in touch and informed.

This week i hope to see my book cover, being worked on by @printedbooks.com. And if everything goes well publish ROTH- Rise Of The Harkon. my first short story in the Native Protector Series. This short story is the Harena point of view from the side of Tripper a young Harena. and i’m working on Talon’s Tale. Which will be the second short story in this chain.

i also hope to launch my new website soon hopefully in the next few weeks. or sooner.

Also this week i hope to order my new DSLR camera. Which will mean more pictures. i know that i write short blogs but i got to get back to the plan.

Happy New Year and Plans for the New Year!!

I wanted to let everyone know my plans for the first part of the year.

1.My short story ROTH (Rise Of The Harkon) will be ready soon. The editing is done just waiting for the book cover. This short is about the Harena during the battle to reclaim their home. this will be out in ebook form. I hope you upload it to Amazon, Smashwords, Kobo, and to the website @eprintedbooks.com.

2.Spirit Lance Fusion– will the combination of Spirit Lance and ROTH. re-edited and fused together into a new file. and i also hope to be selling paperback copies for my website.I hope you upload it to Amazon, Smashwords, Kobo, and to the website @eprintedbooks.com.

3. Talon’s Tale– is a second short story. this story will see the talon as he grows up in a hostile environment. on his home planet. I hope you upload it to Amazon, Smashwords, Kobo, and to the website @eprintedbooks.com.

4.Book 2 of the Native Protectors series is titled Goliath. This book will most likely be out the second part of the year. I hope you upload it to Amazon, Smashwords, Kobo, and to the website @eprintedbooks.com.

5. i plan to go to PHXCC13 in May. just to enjoy the company. this is the closet thing to a vacation i’ll have for the year.

6. i have two other book series started that i hope to have the first ebooks published around May. The first is Like Father, Like Son this is the first of many SteamPunk books. This i hope will be my largest series with 18 books in total and many short stories. the second series is a post apocalyptic series. three books planed.

7. in Oct. of this year the Arizona Browncoats will host the Browncoat Ball in Phoenix. This i will be at also as an Arizona Browncoat.
